Joseph, Sr. was b. at Duxbury, Ma. and d. at age 65 at Middleboro Ma.
Wybra(Weibra)Glass 3(James 2, James, 1) was the dau. of James, Glass and
Mary Pontus of Barnstable, Ma. Joseph, Sr. was a farmer. Joseph, Sr. was
one of the original proprietors of the "16 shilling Purchase" of
Middleboro, Ma. Joseph in 1690 was in possession of Old Edward Bumpas's
land in Middleboro. Wiebra was appointed
administrator of Joseph' estate in 1705. Estate settled April 2, 1713 but
Wiebra is dead, also sister "Widia(Lydia?), Rebecca and Mary. Agreement
to divide estate is signed by James, Penelope and Mehitabel.
