Madison Univ for ministry. ordained in Tully NY as baptist minister to China. worked his way through college, and advised for health upon graduation he needed rest at Martha's vineyard. eventually returned to VT but never able to go to China.
ministered at Factory Pt. VT, Strykersville NY, and IA City. here he worked 6 years until failing health, then he became sunday school teacher on horseback, organizing 1500 schools with libraries. worked for Iowa Baptists 35 yrs, then to Santa Ana CA.
