Lavinia Harriet Donahoo was killed tragically in a water wheel accident
in Millerton. Her husband, "Pike" Bollinger, found her caught in the wheel
when hearrived home from a trip. She was buried in the Mt. View Cemetery in
the Donahoo family plot in 1892. Her mother, Rachel Amanda (Dennison)
Donahoo raisedher daughter from that marriage, Hattie Pearl Bollinger.
