b. 1750- resided in Orange Co., N. C which later became Caswell Co., NC,
located three miles from Milton and not far from Yanceyville.
1768 - Thomas Donahoo with brothers in laws, William & James Sanders, signed
petition to divide Orange County, N. C.
1776 - served ruing the American Revolution as major of the 6thRegiment N. C.
Foot, organized at Hillsborough in 1776.
1783 - Joined "Order of Cincinnati" withg brother in law, Colnel William
Saunders, Jr.at its inception at Newbur, on the Hudson,
