Family Records Vol 1 pg 273"--Mary J. Riddle, daughter of
William Hester filed for a share of the estate on January 1,
1888--the death of William Hester listed as August 20, 1864.
Box 95 #1002. Probate Judge Office. Pickens, S.C. On 4 Jan 1869,
He owned 160 acres on waters of Saluda River, adj. lands of Esli
Hunt, A.J. Anderson and others. Louisa Hester the widow.
